Utah is where I go to loose myself. The alien landscape transports you to another time – think Cowboys and Indians. Monoliths that have learned to withstand erosion are left scared and deformed. Each with their own character and legend. You come to respect the sheer power of water. Terrifying rivers that carve canyons are nothing but trickles for the time being. There is a certain feeling of freedom knowing that one is alone for miles and miles. That the next city is a forty mile trek. I’ve had many adventures in Southern Utah and hope to continue visiting for the rest of my life!

Where can you walk among candy cane, striped mountains? Or be mystified by erosion formed hoodoos? The answer is Utah.
